The episode made its debut on Monday night.

The finale featured hosts Duff Goldman and Valerie, 63, during the show’s “spirit and science day,” which Duff, 49, shared a glimpse of to his Instagram account.

He posted a photo of himself with Valerie in bright and colorful attire.

Valerie wore a bright blue tie-dye shirt with black pants.

Duff wore a rainbow tie-dye suit with a blue and white shirt.

“It’s spirit and science day!!” he captioned the photo.

“Catch the season finale of Kids Baking Championship tonight at 8/7c on @foodnetwork. Watch as the kids make tie dye doughnuts then prepare for a science fair! Lots of colors and erupting in tonight’s episode,” he added.

This post clearly struck a chord with viewers who weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to Valerie as host for the show.

“This will be the last Kids Baking Championship I watch. I’m considering not watching any Food Network anymore. I’m so disappointed in their idiotic decisions,” one fan wrote.

“Bring Valerie Back!!! This show will never be the same without her!” another commented.

“Gonna miss Valerie. Love her. Someone made a BIG mistake letting her go,” a third added.

“Val and Duff are a great team, and are wonderful with the kids. I love Duff, but sadly won’t watch with Val gone. Sorry Food Network, you screwed up big time with this decision,” another viewer wrote.

“Wow! Final show of the series! It was fun while it lasted but until @foodnetwork gives @wolfiesmom her job back I’m done watching,” one fed up fan summed up.

Valerie Bertinelli shares cryptic post about ‘karma’ after Food Network cuts her from Kids Baking Championship

KITCHEN NIGHTMARE

Previously, Valerie claimed she had been fired over text after Food Network ghosted her.

The former Kids Baking Championship host opened up about the circumstances of her firing while responding to claims that talks for her to continue the hosting gig had “stalled.”

Browse magazine initially tweeted“Valerie Bertinelli ‘Wanted to Continue’ on Food Network but ‘Talks Stalled,’ Sources Say.”

The Hot in Cleveland alum took to X, formally Twitter, to set the record straight.

Valerie, 63, replied to the tweet, “This was a tad misleading.”

She had explained, “There were never any talks, so no talks could be stalled.

“I got an inkling I might not be asked back when I saw I wasn’t on the holiday specials. I got a text by a third party on Friday that told me I wouldn’t be back.”

Valerie added, “LOL I was basically ghosted.”

A source claimed that when Valerie’s last contract ended, returning to Kids Baking Championship was “absolutely discussed,” as reported by People.

However, Valerie’s team “decided they wanted more and talks stalled.”

Another insider told the publication a very different story, one that more closely resembles the one Valerie is telling.

The insider revealed, “Her deal was up, and [Food Network] chose not to renew. They didn’t make a new offer, but Valerie very much wanted to continue.”

Valerie followed up her response with another tweet to seemingly clear the air with her past employer.

The Touched by an Angel star wrote, “I have zero ill will toward anyone at FN, I enjoyed every single moment I worked for them, and they are all lovely, kind, hard-working people.

“And I understand business is business. But I won’t tolerate lies. I am a lot of things, but I am not greedy, nor am I a liar.”

The former baking competition host hasn’t let being given the boot from the TV station breaking her soul as her recent Instagram Stories seemed to address her separation from the Food Network.

Valerie personally informed fans in an Instagram video posted yesterday that she wasn’t going to be “asked back” to the Kids Baking Championship because of “budget cuts.”

On Sunday, the now-axed TV host further dealt with her recent firing in her Instagram Stories.

The actress reshared a TikTok from the social media personality Havva Ramadan.

In the clip, Haava talks about karma, and how it operates in life.

Admittedly, Valerie wasn’t ready to walk away from the show.
