If you celebrate Easter on March 31 and would rather not host or cook, there are plenty of places in Eastern Massachusetts to dine out with family and friends on the religious holiday.
Since many people may have to work the next day, brunch is an appealing option that will get you to bed earlier. If you have children in your party, the Easter Bunny will be visiting Town Meeting Bistro at The Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington during brunch and there will also be an egg hunt for children.
“Easter is a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life and all about spending time with family. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate spring than to offer the beautiful and welcoming environment of the Inn, with a sumptuous buffet of delicious food and a community of like-minded neighbors watching kids unleash their inner explorer, uncover hidden treats and battle over who gets the most eggs,” wrote Trisha Pérez Kennealy, owner of the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington, in an email to Wicked Local .
In the mood for steak on Easter instead of ham or lamb? Capital Grille in Braintree, Burlington, Chestnut Hill and Dedham is offering its full menu all day.
If you love Italian food or seafood, Davio’s in Braintree, Chestnut Hill and Lynnfield, Bar Enza in Cambridge or Sogno in Woburn, Il Casale in Belmont and Lexington are all offering special Easter menus on March 31.
